One pattern became increasingly clear: businesses rarely struggle because of a lack of ideas or ambition. The problems usually appear when strategy, capital, governance and execution become disconnected.
Kognise was established to bring those disciplines together. It draws on my experience of building and running businesses, working with investment funds and investors, raising and structuring capital, and supporting management teams through complex periods of growth and change.
The aim is practical: help good businesses become better structured, better funded and better equipped to turn ambition into sustainable value. That also means being prepared to challenge assumptions, ask difficult questions and get involved beyond the strategy document.
